How to join:
As a control measure against abuse no option is given for people to create
their own project journals. Furthermore, only members of the Reef Street Rod
Club can have project journals.
If you are a member of the Reef Street Rod Club and wish to have your own
project journal then you can
ask me to create your account and journal(s) via an e-mail message
or at the next monthly club meeting.
Please supply the following information with your request:
Desired user name (an easy to type name to use when logging in)
Desired password (an easy to remember password)
First name and surname.
E-mail address
Birth date (optional)
Suburb and town (optional)
Occupation (optional)
Project journal name(s)
Once you have your project journal we ask politely to only add project related
entries, meaning that the entries you add must be about the specific project.
Keep in mind that your project journal is not merely a diary but will also be a
tutorial to other people. Each entry can have 3 photos. When describing the
photos you must try and give more information about why and how you did the
task the way you did it and not just say that today you did this.
If describing a task requires more than one entry due to the number of photos
required to carry the message across, then you simply add more entries. If an
entry only requires one photo it's not a problem. However, please try and
describe a particular task as much as possible in one entry. For example: if
you're changing a wheel bearing and the task requires 6 photos then only add 2
entries with 3 photos each instead of adding 6 entries with one photo each.
